A fun afternoon with my Grandkids. Madison & Teige (Jared's kids) and Lukas (not in picture- Krista's son) came to have lunch and make a beautiful gingerbread house. Love having them over, letting them eat anything they want and spoiling them a bit!

Out for a fun day of Pheasant Hunting

Still having fun and thinkin We're young!
We had a wonderful time going for a short overnight backpacking trip to White Pine Lake up from Tony Grove in Logan Canyon. We had to try out all of Russell's gadgets that he keeps buying for our emergency kits. It was actually comfortable and fun, we had beef stroganoff, cherry cobbler the easy way, slept on cots and nice mattress and carried it all in. Just fun to be together without the worries for awhile! I am happy to be home, clean and with my convieniences though. I love the outdoors and some time spent there, but I also love my luxuries! ha

Krista has a new baby girl!
Krista and Scott Nance have a beautiful new daughter Lily Sofia Nance Aug. 21 at 5:40 AM.
7 pounds 3 ounces, 19 inches. She had a 4 1/2 hour labor during the middle of the night and
Grandma was able to be there to experience this miracle with them. They were right here in the Tremonton hospital so it was very convenient for all of us. Grandpa (Russell) was just leaving for a scout training at 6 am that morning so was able to see her before he left. We wish the best for their new family (2 children now, boy, girl) and GayLyn might have to control herself not to go over and hold Lily too much!

Kauai July 2008
Gay Lyn, Lisa and Grandma Spjut took a random trip to Kauai. Planned it in 4 days and those of us who were willing to throw everything to the wind and live a little flew to the Garden Isle and had a blast. 3 generation memories. Snorkeling, Zodiac boat to the Napali coast sea caves, Lisa and I hiked the Napali Kalalau trail to the waterfall, shave ice several times with macadamia nut ice cream, kyaking, botanical gardens, reading, card games, talks and just soaking in the beauty! Thank you thank you thank you life!
Jared's first day working with Russell at the Dental Office
Russell is loving having his son at the office and all the patient comments are "he talks just like Dr. White", and they love him!

We had a fun family vacation this summer with everyone in Lake Tahoe. Hiking, Biking, Golfing, Swiming & Talking. Jake came from Kentucky, Lisa and Taylor from San Ramon CA.

The White family returns from Halifax, NS
Jared, Kim, Madison, Teige and Trey White all arrived from Canada on May 3rd. They have home in Tremonton now, and are anxiously awaiting the dental license so that Jared can begin practicing here with Russell in the newly remodeled White Dental Clinic.
Kim is working as a dental hygentist 1 day a week until Jared begins his dental career! Welcome home Jared, Kim and family! (we are all a little excited around here!)
